Thought you saw DC's Manteca on the slopes last year? You did! They turned the Manteca into the Phase so they could take it to the mountains. They built the upper out of synthetic leather, and used water-resistant mesh panels to reduce the Phases overall weight. The tongue and calf areas have padded neoprene to provide comfortable movement, while a non-slip footbed inside the Phase helps secure the new Basic Liner in place.The cup sole, witch is about 10% lighter than a typical outsole, is made from abrassion-resistant sticky rubber. The Phase's functional sole design grants great traction and grip in the snow.
